Wix exports only part of what the live site contains. We use the site itself to discover the content, routes and features the export leaves behind.
Much of the site lives inside the Wix editor. We inventory the pages and reusable content that need rebuilding rather than assuming the product export represents the whole project.
There is no rewrite table to inherit. We crawl the live site, review Search Console landing pages where access exists and map product, blog, page and parameter route families. Routes that cannot be discovered cannot be redirected.
Bookings, memberships, forms, automations and other Wix features may need Shopify apps, connected services or a separate application. We agree the replacement and its data path before the build.
Products are usually workable. Customer and order history depend on the account and available exports. We test what can be retrieved before stating that it will move.
The sample stage proves catalogue mapping and image retrieval. We compare the rebuilt content with the live-site inventory, test the selected replacement features and agree how new orders are handled between the full run and switch. Redirects and buying journeys are checked live after cutover.

Most Wix moves are priced closer to a new build than to a data migration, because the site is being reconstructed. That is stated up front rather than discovered in the scope.
No. Wix layouts exist inside its editor and have no portable form. Pages are rebuilt as Shopify templates and sections, which is a cost, and also the reason most stores end up with something more maintainable than they had.
Partly, and it depends on the account. We confirm what your specific Wix plan will release before the scope is fixed. Where history cannot be retrieved in full, the options are a partial import or an archived export held outside the store.
Those are Wix products rather than storefront data. Each one needs an equivalent chosen and costed on Shopify. Doing that comparison before the move avoids the common surprise of a bundled feature turning into three subscriptions.
