Platform
What your current platform can export
Some platforms produce complete, well-structured exports. Others produce products and little else, and the rest has to be rebuilt by hand.

Answer five questions and get an indicative range with the assumptions named. Unusual cases are scoped by hand instead of given a number.
It calculates in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored.
Bands, not false precision. The project is sized from your largest record count, and the range widens when several record types are large. Operational system integrations, subscriptions, Plus, B2B, multi-market, bespoke platforms and catalogues over 50,000 records are scoped by hand rather than given a number.

Indicative total range
£6,000 – £7,500$7,750 – $10,000
An indicative range for a managed migration, not a binding quote. It assumes we map the data, run a sample, check it against the source, handle redirects and run the cutover. Scope and price are fixed after we review source access, sample data and integrations. Migration-tool fees used for the managed transfer are included. Shopify subscriptions, paid themes and app licences are separate.

Platform
Some platforms produce complete, well-structured exports. Others produce products and little else, and the rest has to be rebuilt by hand.
Volume
Record count drives the checking, not the transfer. Ten thousand products means ten thousand chances for a mapping decision to be wrong.
Design
Keeping close to the current design, adapting a premium theme and a custom redesign are three different projects sharing one migration.
Integrations
ERP, warehouse, 3PL and accounting connections are development work with their own testing, not a setting you switch on.
Apps
Reviews, loyalty, subscriptions, search and filtering all have to be installed, configured, styled to the theme and tested against real data.
Three steps, and none of them costs you anything.
| Step | What we look at | What it produces |
|---|---|---|
| Source access | The current platform, its export capability and the live URL inventory | Confirmation of what can actually move |
| Sample migration | A representative slice of products, customers and orders | A documented mapping, and the list of what needs rebuilding |
| Integration review | Apps, ERP, warehouse, accounting and marketing systems | A fixed scope, a fixed price and a cutover plan |
No. It is an indicative range and it is non-contractual. Scope and price are fixed after we review source access, a sample export and your integrations.
We use external migration tools where they are useful, and their fees are included in the managed migration price. The tools transfer records; they do not decide how inconsistent source data should be mapped or reformatted. We handle that work, run a sample, validate the result against the source, manage redirects and run the cutover.
Because for some inputs any number would be invented. Subscriptions, Shopify Plus, B2B, multi-market, bespoke platforms and catalogues over 50,000 records depend too heavily on specifics to band honestly.
Because the largest record type usually sets the effort, and the range widens where several are large. Asking for three exact figures implies a precision the model does not have.
Because an app is rarely just an install. Each one has to be configured, styled to match the theme, tested against real data and checked at launch. Ten apps is a meaningful piece of the build; none is not.
Migration-tool fees used for the transfer are included. Shopify subscriptions, app licences and paid themes are separate unless a proposal lists them.
Yes, at the level you select. Keeping close to the current design, adapting a premium theme and a custom redesign are three genuinely different pieces of work.
Send your platform, rough record counts and what the new store has to do differently. That is enough for us to scope it properly.
