A rough store layout resolving across a single seam into a finished, ordered storefront.

Build, rebuild or fix what the store is actually blocked on

New stores, rebuilds of stores that outgrew their setup, and defined projects on stores that trade every day.

What we take on

Four shapes the work usually takes

Each one is bounded, scoped and priced before it starts.

Swipe the work

New store

Shopify builds

A production-ready store: architecture, templates, payments and shipping, analytics and a technical SEO baseline, with training and short post-launch support.

  • Theme implementation or restrained adaptation
  • Core configuration and a defined catalogue
  • Launch checklist and handover

Rebuild

Redesigns and theme rebuilds

For a store that has outgrown the setup it launched on, where every change now needs a developer and a brief.

  • Conversion-led design across the templates that sell
  • Catalogue and navigation restructure
  • A theme the internal team can actually work in

Structure

Catalogue and merchandising

On a wide catalogue, structure decides whether a shopper reaches the right product. A new theme moves that problem to a nicer page.

  • Collection architecture and sub-collections
  • Filtering and tagging that hold up on a phone
  • Merchandising the team can change as ranges move

Defined project

Development, CRO and integrations

A bounded conversion, performance, integration or technical-debt project with acceptance criteria and no retainer attached.

  • Template and section development
  • Analytics implementation and tracking repair
  • Third-party and operational integrations
How we build

The frameworks behind the build

Four practical guides for the pages that do most of the selling.

Shopify · Retail store

Starting condition
An established combat-sports retailer trading a wide multi-brand catalogue on Shopify.
The constraint
In a catalogue that size, structure and merchandising decide whether a shopper ever reaches the right product.
What UltraLabs changed
Catalogue structure, storefront development and continuing store work.
What it makes possible
Category and merchandising changes can be made as ranges move, without commissioning a rebuild.
Fumetsu campaign photography of the brand’s own combat-sports range.

Fumetsu

Shopify · Brand store

Starting condition
A single-brand Shopify store selling its own combat-sports range direct to customers.
The constraint
On a brand store the product and collection templates carry most of the conversion work, so template quality is a commercial decision.
What UltraLabs changed
Storefront development and ongoing conversion work across the templates that sell.
What it makes possible
The brand team can launch and adjust ranges on templates that already handle the selling.

Migration and build

Shopify launch

From £5,000From $6,500

Moving to Shopify and building the store in one project, so the data and the storefront land together rather than in two disconnected pieces of work.

  • Store build, configuration and templates
  • Managed data migration within stated limits
  • Redirects, analytics and technical SEO baseline
  • Launch, training and short post-launch support

Starting price

No migration

Shopify rebuild

  • Theme rebuild or restrained adaptation
  • Merchandising, navigation and catalogue structure
  • Launch with the trading journeys tested first

Starting price

Plus, B2B, multi-market

Advanced Shopify

From £8,000From $10,500

Shopify Plus, B2B, multi-market, multi-language, custom integrations or headless work. These configurations are sized after discovery, not instant-priced.

  • Trade accounts, price lists and B2B rules
  • Multi-market and multi-language configuration
  • ERP, PIM, WMS and accounting integrations
  • Headless or custom storefront work where justified

Starting price · scoped after discovery

One bounded piece

  • Scope: Shopify and marketing-site delivery, plus roadmap planning

Starting price

All prices exclude VAT where applicable. Shopify subscriptions, paid themes, apps, domains and third-party licences are separate unless explicitly included.

Moving platform

Coming to Shopify from somewhere else

A replatform is a trading change with a cutover, not a design project with a launch date.

Migrations are handled as their own piece of work, with data mapping, redirects, integrations, validation and cutover treated as one job rather than four.

Questions

Asked before a Shopify project starts

Do you only work on new builds?

No. Most Shopify work here is on stores that already trade: a rebuild, a template project, a catalogue restructure or a defined technical piece. A build is one of several shapes the work takes.

Will you work with a theme we already own?

Yes, and it is often the right call. A restrained adaptation of a well-built theme gets a store further than a custom rebuild in most cases. Where the theme itself is the constraint, we will say so and explain why.

Do we have to take monthly support afterwards?

No. Support is a separate service for stores with a live backlog worth prioritising. Every build ends with a handover, whether or not you continue with us.

Can you work with our internal team?

Yes. We work alongside internal marketing, design and development teams regularly. The scope names who owns what before anyone starts.

What about Shopify Plus, B2B or multi-market?

We take that work, and it is not instant-priced. Those configurations are scoped after discovery because the requirements vary too widely for a published figure to be honest.

Send the store and the problem behind the rebuild.

If the answer is a smaller project than the brief assumed, we will tell you that rather than quote the brief.
